Generative Branding for EA Access

I wrote a slider bar app working closely with NYU ITP colleague Diego Bauducco to generate motion background and start screen animation for the EA Access console menu. The Processing sketch rendered static loops for incorporation into the final UI, and featured a fun circular, looping perlin noise so all the random bits would wrap seamlessly no matter what they were doing. We also added in a "blossoming envelope", controlling it with adsr.

Although these two screenshots of the app are a considerable departure from the branding the app attempts to interpret, the final renders were understandably closer to home. For me, it was definitely one of those projects where I have to fight off being mesmerized in order to stay productive.

Special thanks for Andrew Jones for xbox documentation
