Addon-Art pcomp Final (arm)

Interfaces to existing interactive installations can be altered by building additional technology on top of them. This motorized arm interacts with other physical pieces by being present, moving its joints, and waving a flashlight. What if twenty students made twenty pieces that could interact with one another in a similar fashion? Many surprising outcomes would delight the heart and soul. What is great about this collaboration is that we did not hook our projects up to one another through a serial protocol or by merging the electronic circuitry. The exchange was both elegant and accessible, for the communication happened within the human spectrum.

Scott Fitzgerald also provided some interactive light experimentation.
